The Raz model is where I allow myself full freedom of expression as a guitar maker. Each one is unique.
Body Shape – Spanish or slightly petit body based on a 1864 Torres.
Decorations – usually made uniquely for each guitar, no two instruments are the same.
Bracing and Sound – The Raz bracing has developed over the years into a combination Ladder and Fan system. The qualities of sound are:
- Fantastic note separation also when using Cedar
- Stable response with a wide dynamic ability
- Long and very even sustain with a slow note decay
- strong firm bases
- Full round trebles with a naturally sweet tone – no harshness or nasality.
